The Christian Dior show, which for many people marks the start of Paris Fashion Week, took place on September 24 at Paris Longchamp hippodrome. A garden with 164 trees in pails was created for its design, which will be planted in various areas of Paris after the show. Some of the trees were transferred to the nonprofit organization GoodPlanet Foundation.
Dior's spring collection blooms with wildflowers and is decorated with embroidery samples from the Christian Dior Museum in Granville. Maria Grazia Chiuri was inspired by the look of the legendary couturier's sister, which was a Resistance member and a gardener.
