“The silhouettes they propose are all we want in our closets right now”, “it’s not easy to find unique, quality products like these”. Did you guess, which brand Chiara Ferragni writes in her blog The Blonde Salad about?
This brand’s name is Act n°1, and we dedicated it the cover of 38th issue. Two young and talented designers stand behind this brand - Luca Lin and Galib Gassanoff, who draw inspiration from their motherlands. They deconstruct silhouettes, mix clothes, create oversize, which does not look baggy at all. Each item of this brand is a stylish message, but of all them can be easily combined with jeans and sneakers. And yes, any piece of fabric and any thread does not get to Act n°1 studio accidentally –there is a history behind each detail.
On February 21st in Milan Act n°1 presented its fall collection. Designers used Jacquard fabrics, often used for interiors, applied elegant prints on them, covered with embroideries from polyvinylchloride, created chimeras from white shirts with contrast tulle skirts… It was an experiment, and it definitely came out successful: Vogue strongly recommends to follow this promising brand.
